Photographs and drawings where the people have been altered to have facial and body proportions similar to those found in Japanese “anime” cartoons and manga.

This later evolved into an exploration of cartoon violence and anthropomorphization; the idea of giving human motivations, characteristics, or other attributes to non-human things and ideas.
