Photographs and drawings where the people have been altered to have facial and body proportions similar to those found in Japanese “anime” cartoons and manga.

This later evolved into an exploration of cartoon violence and anthropomorphization; the idea of giving human motivations, characteristics, or other attributes to non-human things and ideas.

Paintings largely based on recreations of real life events culled from the news or the web.

Early works were paintings of people compiled into a single composite portrait from multiple images found on police most wanted posters.
